I had an amazing experience with Stepping Stones! All of the staff was very friendly and were very focused on understand my specific needs even after the timer went off. Family owned practices always find a way to make you feel like a part of the family. 10/10 would recommend!
I have been seeing Dr. Shaikh for over a year now. He is excellent in what he does and has always made me feel valued as a patient. The staff is very friendly and has always been willing to work with me. I have recommended his practice to several people. The only thing that has ever bothered me at this practice is the wait times. But they have gotten better and you can't expect to always be seen on time when you are seeing a doctor. If you do come here, make sure you have an extra half hour or so.
This is the BEST doctor and group of people working there! I honestly recommend them. They actually care. The doctor takes the time out of his day to actually know whats going on with his patients unlike other doctors you're only seen for a few minutes. If you're looking for a new doctor, go see them!
Dr Shaikh is very good at his job. He listens to me with patience and has a very pleasant demeanor. Every time I walk out of the clinic, I feel better and more optimistic about my life and goals. The doctor is very kind and gentle and the staff is friendly. I would recommend this place if you ever need help.
Since I have ever been coming to Dr Shaikhs over the years,my experience has been awesome. The Dr is very understanding and takes time to listen. The office staff are all so warm and friendly.
Dave Keys is a professional, intelligent and genuine therapist. I am diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder and suffered a psychotic episode in May of 2018. A few months after that, I began working with Dave. I saw multiple therapist prior to working with Dave with no significant changes. I began EMDR therapy per Dave’s recommendation. The thought of having to trust someone and share experiences and emotions I never shared with anyone, not even prior therapist, terrified me. I have serious trust issues and Dave was very very patient with me during this process and continues to be very patient with me. He is non-judgmental, never makes me feel bad about past behaviors and works with me to make sure I don't repeat those behaviors. I have been seeing Dave twice a week for 8 months now and he has provided me a place where I feel comfortable and safe opening up about my traumas and the emotions that come up when revisiting those traumas. Seeking his services and undergoing EMDR therapy has made and continues to make a difference in my life. The personal growth I have achieved with his help is tremendous. Our sessions are helping provide me with a positive outlook, to embrace the changes I have made, and is preparing me for future happiness. I would highly recommend Dave for any of your personal counseling needs. 1
While the time that it takes to be seen can be longer and vary, Dr. Shaikh and his team hold themselves to higher standards and always follows HIPAA and all laws/policies of the APA. Unfortunately not everyone can be pleased, patients that do not regularly attend appointments or make appointments in a timely manner can be met with some obstacles when needing refills or new scripts for their medication . It's a shame but attendance is required for some controlled substances and even though the staff understand life happens and issues can arise that make it so patients are unable to attend, by state law certain things must be done a certain way. Its heart breaking and sad to see that taken out on the staff and people who work there who do everything they can to help those in need. But it's so rewarding to see people thank the staff up and down when the staff goes above and beyond to help others which happens way more frequently than some of these reviews lead you to believe. Trust that all policies and laws are respected and followed.
I brought my son to the clinic and he liked it very much. He never really liked any previous doctors, however he really connected to Dr. Shaikh.
Excellent care and staff was very friendly.
Where do I begin... Well I've had psychological problems since I was 7, I'm 19 now, so for 12 years I've had issues that I couldn't cope with. I've been to 5 different therapists and psychiatrist, this being my 5th one, I stopped going to the other places because I felt like they were no help whatsoever. I've now been going to stepping stones for almost a year, let me just say, this is the best place I've ever been to. My therapist is Sarah, Sarah has made a huge impact on my situations. She shows she cares, she wants to get to know you, she has helped me more than any therapist ever has. Also, I love the doctor, Doctor Shaik, he isn't just there to prescribe you meds, he asks you what's happened in your life and what's going on in your life, just like a therapist. He wants to understand what's happened. He may prescribe you medication, but he even says "you don't have to take them unless you want to" no one is forced to take medication. It's your choice. He has a heavy Indian accent and is hard to understand at times, but if you listen closely you'll perfectly understand. I would recommend stepping stones to anyone who needs the help.
