Dr. Muhammad I. Shaikh
Dr. Muhammad I. Shaikh holds Certification by 
the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and the American Board of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He completed his residency and fellowship at UPMC Western Psychiatry Institute from the University Of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Dr. Shaikh is a member of American Psychiatric Association and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

Dr. Shaikh strives to combine his extensive experience and treatments to stay at the forefront of emerging medical information. He specializes in helping people with complex problems who have not yet responded to treatment. Patients with compound psychiatric illnesses can be harder to achieve remission. Problems include, but are not limited to, medical, neurologic or pharmacologic problems.

Dr. Shaikh has been married for 29 years. He and his wife are very dedicated to family and raising their own 7 children.

Dr Shaikh believes deeply in the idea to love your children, show them kindness and support, be open and positive, and take an interest in what they do. Be there for them and they will learn to someday return that love and kindness to you and others.
