Where do I begin… Well I’ve had psychological problems since I was 7, I’m 19 now, so for 12 years I’ve had issues that I couldn’t cope with. I’ve been to 5 different therapists and psychiatrist, this being my 5th one, I stopped going to the other places because I felt like they were no help whatsoever. I’ve now been going to stepping stones for almost a year, let me just say, this is the best place I’ve ever been to. My therapist is Sarah, Sarah has made a huge impact on my situations. She shows she cares, she wants to get to know you, she has helped me more than any therapist ever has. Also, I love the doctor, Doctor Shaik, he isn’t just there to prescribe you meds, he asks you what’s happened in your life and what’s going on in your life, just like a therapist. He wants to understand what’s happened. He may prescribe you medication, but he even says “you don’t have to take them unless you want to" no one is forced to take medication. It’s your choice. He has a heavy Indian accent and is hard to understand at times, but if you listen closely you’ll perfectly understand. I would recommend stepping stones to anyone who needs the help.
